I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and did you really need a new engine? Can't he just replace that one piston ?. If you look at the BRP parts site it lists this motor as a 1988 model, a commercial, rope start, made in Belgium. bought for 4400 9 months ago. #2 is around 30 psi.
